Sitting Short-Haired German Shepherd Statuette

Few breeds combine intelligence, courage and devotion the way the German Shepherd does. This statuette shows the short-haired variety in a classic sitting pose: straight front legs, tall pointed ears and a focused gaze to the left. The coat is short, yet the direction of the hair across the neck, chest and thighs is traced with fine relief lines, and the bushy tail curves beside the hind paw. The bronze color makes the piece look like a statuette cast as an award.
