Sitting Cane Corso Dog Sculpture

Power and calm in one – that sums up this Cane Corso sculpture. The Italian Mastiff is shown seated, with a broad chest, massive head and cropped upright ears. Its focused gaze is turned to the left, the heavy jowls hang low, and folds and defined muscles show along the neck and shoulders. The short coat is sculpted with a dense, slightly rough texture that, in bronze color, recalls an old guardian statue at the gate of an estate.
