Eternal Lament Relief Wall Sculpture

A scene straight from an engraving of the afterlife. At the centre rises a skull with a stretched neck and gaping jaw – a moan that never fades. Around it, among tangled roots and porous, torn forms, around ten more skulls surface in different directions and sizes. Some almost merge with the background while others push far forward, so the panel looks different from every angle. The holes and pores in the organic mass cast deep shadows and deepen the dark, unsettling mood.
