Voronoi Bloodhound Dog Sculpture

The Bloodhound's nose is legendary – this calm, determined scent hound can follow a trail several days old. The sculpture captures its signature look: long, soft ears falling beside the muzzle, wrinkles on the brow, a mournful yet kindly gaze and a slightly lowered head, as if the dog has just caught a scent. The tail is held high like a little flag.

The head and the tip of the tail are solid, while the chest, body and legs are formed from open cells in a light sandy beige. A black saddle runs along the back and up the tail, echoing the breed's natural colouring. On a desk, in a study or a hunting lodge the figure looks both classic and modern, and light passing through the openings draws delicate patterns.
