Screaming Face in the Web Relief Sculpture

A twisted, emaciated face tears free from the surface, mouth stretched in a scream and eyes squeezed shut. The skin seems to dissolve into a web of strands, membranes and pitted growths that covers the entire panel and drags the face back in. Smaller grotesque heads surface here and there within the tangle. Printed in light grey matte PLA with a fine speckled texture, the relief resembles a plaster cast, and the deep hollows hold the shadow, making the scream feel even more real.
