Angel of the Abyss Relief Wall Sculpture

This is not the angel from a Christmas card. A gaunt, skull-faced figure tears itself out of the abyss, mouth wide open in a scream, matted hair whipping around its head and clawed fingers reaching outward. Enormous wings stretch to the edges of the panel with every feather individually sculpted, while a ragged robe winds around the body like smoke. Billowing clouds below complete the sense of a fall from grace. The grey matte PLA gives it the look of an old cathedral stone carving, and the deep relief creates a play of shadows that shifts throughout the day.
