Sitting Shar Pei Dog Sculpture

Wrinkles are its calling card. The Shar Pei is an ancient Chinese breed – calm, devoted to its family and reserved with strangers, with a hippo-like muzzle and skin that falls in folds all over its body. This sculpture celebrates exactly that: deep wrinkles across the brow, the broad muzzle and the neck, small folded ears and a slightly sleepy, thoughtful gaze turned to the side.

The dog sits firmly on sturdy paws, and every fold casts its own shadow – in a bronze colour the relief stands out like on a classic statuette. We make it in Stara Zagora on a 3D printer from PLA, a biodegradable plastic made from corn starch; orders are ready within 5 working days.
