Young Karate Kick Sculpture

This sculpture captures a moment of training: a young girl in a karate gi performs a powerful high kick, and her ponytail flies with the movement. You can feel the tension of the body and the discipline, and the folds of the gi, the belt and the facial features are finely worked. The figure stands on an uneven rocky base and is finished in a grey stone tone.
