Skull Requiem Relief Wall Sculpture

This is a monster, not a man. The huge rounded skull stretches downward like a snout, and where the nose and mouth should be there is a net of taut webbing and sinew with teeth peeking through. One eye socket is filled with small round holes like a honeycomb, the other is bottomless. Beside it, in the lower right corner, a small human skull huddles among scattered bones and rags. The background is cracked rock. Light highlights the smooth crown while the webbing casts grid-like shadows.
