Sitting Mastiff Dog Sculpture

Strength with nothing to prove – that is the Mastiff in a nutshell. This ancient guardian breed is enormous yet calm and surprisingly gentle with its people. The sculpture conveys exactly that feeling: a powerful body, broad chest, thick paws and a heavy head with deep wrinkles across the brow and loose, drooping lips. The gaze is turned slightly aside, serious and self-assured.

Every fold and every tuft of fur is sculpted in detail, and the bronze colour deepens the relief, turning the figure into a classic statuette that sits solidly on any surface.
