Rooted Within Face Relief Wall Sculpture

The face looks straight ahead with a quiet, focused gaze while roots both thin and thick wind from its forehead, cheeks and chin, framing the head like a living crown. Beneath them the skin carries barely visible lines resembling bark or leaf veins. The background is rough and porous like rock or moss, and a slim outer rim frames it like a picture. The relief expresses the bond between people and nature, at once mystical and soothing.
