Raven Vase with Feather Relief

The raven is shown here in profile, with a long smooth beak, a stern brow and an eye turned toward you. Beneath the head the feathers are carved in thin layers that spread down the whole vase and give it a sense of depth. The colour is dark brown, almost like roasted coffee, and it blends into vintage or Scandinavian interiors. It looks especially good on a sideboard, a bookcase or a reading nook.
