Flaming Skull Relief Wall Sculpture

These flames don’t burn around the skull – they seem to pour out of it. The cranium is sculpted in fine facets like cut crystal, while the right side breaks into long, sharp tongues of fire curling up toward the edge of the panel. Swirls of smoke and twisted bones fill the lower part. The composition is cleaner than many skull pieces, so it reads well from across the room. Under side light every flame casts its own shadow, and the eye sockets stay deeply dark.
