Christ in Prayer Relief Wall Panel

Christ is shown in a moment of humble prayer: head bowed, gaze lowered, palms joined before his chest. His long curly hair and beard are rendered in very fine strands, and the folds of his robe fall softly over the shoulders. Behind his head stands a round halo with lettering and rays, while scrolling floral ornaments fill the upper corners of the frame, giving the piece a classic, icon-like character. It looks like a stone bas-relief from an old church.
