Baroque Wild Boar Mask with Tusks

The wild boar is a symbol of strength and stubbornness, and in this mask it looks like a figure from a medieval coat of arms. The broad snout with its large nose is framed by two curved tusks, bristles rise along the crown, and the ears and cheeks are covered in dense baroque leaves and scrolls. The mask covers the face from forehead to nose and is deeply sculpted. In the photo it is deep black, displayed on a marble stand.
