Baroque Spartan Helmet Mask

A tall crest, a narrow plate over the nose and broad cheek guards that shield the face – the silhouette instantly evokes the phalanxes of ancient Sparta. Acanthus leaves and borders are engraved on the metal-looking surface, and the eye openings have the characteristic shaped outline. In the photo the helmet is a dark brown-black with a soft sheen.
