Baroque Heron Mask with Long Beak

Slender, graceful and a little enigmatic – that is the Heron mask. Its signature feature is the long, narrow beak that reaches far forward from the nose, while a crest of swirling baroque feathers and leaves sweeps back from the eyes. The dark surface with warm bronze highlights brings out every curl of the ornament. It is a half mask covering the eyes, brow and nose, leaving the mouth free.
