Baroque Bison Mask with Horns

Strength, stubbornness and quiet dignity – that is what this bison mask conveys. Two sharp horns curve upward, the forehead and cheeks are covered in symmetrical baroque flourishes and a curly beard hangs beneath the broad muzzle. The dark brown colour in the photo is accented with golden edges that make the relief stand out.
